Royal Warrant awarded to Witham Group as company unveils new brand identity
UK-based lubricant and paint manufacturer Witham Group, well known within the shooting industry for its range of gun oils and cleaners, has announced the renewal of its Royal Warrant - this time under His Majesty King Charles III. The news coincides with the launch of a refreshed brand identity and updated corporate logo.
Royal Warrants are re-evaluated with each new monarch and are awarded in recognition of high standards in goods and services supplied to the Royal Household. Witham Group previously held a Royal Warrant from Queen Elizabeth II, first granted in 1991 for the supply of lubricants and paints to the Sandringham Estate and associated properties. The new appointment places Witham among 386 companies retained by King Charles III.
Nigel Bottom, managing director of Witham Group, said: “The renewal of our Royal Warrant is a tremendous honour and a testament to the dedication of our entire team. This milestone provided the perfect catalyst to evolve our visual identity, creating a modern and dynamic brand that reflects our heritage and future aspirations. We are excited to begin rolling out our new branding and the esteemed Royal Crest across all touchpoints, from our website and product labels to our depots and fleet.”
The new visual identity includes a bold red ‘W’ symbol featuring stylised oil and paint droplets, representing both movement and the company’s dual core areas of business. The updated design also incorporates elements from Witham’s historical branding, providing continuity and recognition as the company looks ahead.
The Royal Warrant includes clear guidelines on how and where the updated Royal Crest can be used, and Witham has incorporated these changes into its broader brand refresh.
Headquartered in Lincoln, Witham Group operates a lubricant manufacturing facility as well as a distribution hub and trade shop in Soham, Cambridgeshire. The company supplies award-winning oils, greases and paints to a wide range of industries including agriculture, haulage, marine, manufacturing, engineering, horticulture and estates management. It has also been an active contributor to charitable causes, raising over £140,000 for national and local initiatives.
Witham’s continued recognition by the Royal Household displays its reputation for quality, innovation, environmental leadership and high standards of corporate governance.
