QYS Expands Pellet Range into .22 Calibre with UK Exclusive Distribution via Hawke Optics

QYS (Qiang Yuan Sports), a globally respected manufacturer of precision airgun pellets, is set to expand its product line up with the introduction of .22 calibre pellets.

The new .22 range is expected to be available in the UK from August 2026, representing QYS’s first major move beyond its highly regarded .177 offerings, which have gained strong traction among target and Field Target shooters for their exceptional consistency and quality control.

Supporting this expansion, Hawke Optics has been confirmed as the exclusive UK distributor — a move expected to significantly strengthen supply and availability nationwide.

Jamie Ransome, UK Sales Director of Hawke Optics, commented:

“We are thrilled to deepen our partnership with QYS and bring their exceptional products to UK customers. This partnership reflects our shared commitment to quality and service, and it will allow us to offer retailers and end users even better access to a wider range of premium shooting products”

The introduction of .22 calibre pellets positions QYS to compete directly in a segment currently dominated by established brands, offering shooters an alternative built on the brands reputation for precision manufacturing and tight tolerances. This expansion reflects QYS’s ongoing commitment to innovation and meeting the evolving needs of airgun shooters”.

Further information on QYS pellets and UK availability of the forthcoming .22 range can be obtained through local gun shops and authorised dealers nationwide.

Hawke Optics Announces Exclusive UK Distribution of Rifle Ammunition Airgun Pellets

Hawke Optics has announced an exclusive distribution agreement for the UK market with Rifle Ammunition, a premium airgun pellet brand manufactured in Brazil. This partnership marks a strategic expansion of Hawke’s offering, bringing high-quality ammunition to complement its industry-leading optics range.

Rifle Ammunition pellets have been developed using advanced manufacturing techniques and stringent quality control processes to ensure exceptional consistency, accuracy, and performance. Produced in Brazil and soon to begin manufacturing in Europe, with a new production facility in Portugal, the brand leverages precision tooling and high-grade lead alloys to deliver uniform weight distribution and optimal aerodynamic characteristics.

The pellet range will be available in multiple calibres and head sizes, catering to a wide spectrum of airgun disciplines—from target shooting to hunting applications. Designed to perform across sub-12 ft/lb air rifles and high-powered PCP platforms, the pellets and slugs aim to deliver tight groupings, reliable expansion, and consistent ballistic behaviour.

This exclusive agreement reinforces Hawke Optics’ commitment to supporting the airgun community with trusted, high-performance products.

Commenting on the partnership, Jamie Ransome, UK Sales Director of Hawke Optics said:

“We’re thrilled to introduce this exclusive range of airgun pellets to the UK. This partnership allows us to offer customers high-quality, reliable products while strengthening our support for retailers and shooters alike.”

The Rifle Ammunition pellet range will be available exclusively through Hawke Optics’ authorised dealer network across the UK, with launch stock expected in May.
