ISGW AND LEUPOLD ANNOUNCE GLOBAL COLLABORATION WITH UK DISTRIBUTION LINK

The International Sporting Goods Wholesalers (ISGW) alliance and Leupold & Stevens have confirmed a global distribution agreement for Leupold’s “Gold Ring” optics, with the partnership announced at SHOT Show in Las Vegas on January 22.

The strategic agreement brings together ISGW’s multi-market wholesaler network and Leupold’s long-established optics manufacturing, with the Oregon-based brand set to expand its international reach through the alliance’s distribution channels. The move also carries clear relevance for the UK market, with Viking Arms — one of Britain’s established shooting sports distributors — forming part of the ISGW network.

The ISGW alliance comprises four major wholesalers: NIOA, Helmut Hofmann, Viking Arms and Outdoor Investment Holdings/Formalito. Collectively, ISGW members represent and distribute more than 125 firearms, optics and ammunition brands across multiple regions, strengthening supply pathways between manufacturers and retail partners.

Under the new agreement, Leupold & Stevens joins the ISGW portfolio alongside brands including Ruger, Marlin, Remington, Federal Ammunition, Savage Arms and CCI, further consolidating the alliance’s position within the global sporting goods sector.

Leupold, which marks 118 years in business, is known globally for its riflescopes and optics used across hunting, shooting, outdoor and professional markets. The collaboration is expected to see Leupold working closely with ISGW’s distribution partners — including Viking Arms in the UK — to support product availability, sales infrastructure and customer service standards.

Jon Slack, International Sales Manager at Leupold & Stevens, said the agreement will help deliver a more consistent offering to customers across different markets.

“This partnership strengthens Leupold’s global footprint while ensuring our loyal customers benefit from consistent service, technical support and product availability, regardless of location.”

Janos Jeszenszky, Director Global Commercial Sales at Leupold & Stevens, said the collaboration supports Leupold’s international ambitions and aligns with the company’s approach to distribution.

“Joining the ISGW alliance allows us to work more closely with some of the most respected distribution partners in the world. Their commitment to gold standard customer service aligns strongly with our own values.”

Representatives from both organisations marked the announcement during SHOT Show, with ISGW members gathering at the Leupold stand alongside senior Leupold staff.
