Retail Sales Consultant

DESCRIPTION OF ROLE:

The Retail Sales Consultant will be responsible for assisting customers in the purchase of firearms and related products, providing expert service in-store, over the phone, and via email. The role includes day-to-day stock replenishment, maintenance of the retail space, and delivering a high standard of customer care. A strong sales background and excellent interpersonal skills are essential, while prior shooting knowledge is desirable but not mandatory – full training will be provided.

DESCRIPTION OF ROLE:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the management and improvement of one of the estate’s beats, which produces 25-30 red deer stags, 30-40 hinds, and supports walked-up grouse shooting. Duties include stalking with family and guests, implementing the estate’s deer management plan, winter feeding, muirburn, grit spreading, vermin control, and general estate upkeep. You will work alongside the head keeper and wider estate team.

PLACE OF WORK:

Estate near Inverness, Highlands, Scotland (livein position with house provided)

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 3 years’ beat keeping experience

• 3 years’ experience in stalking, grouse shooting and working with a head keeper

• Full UK driving licence (required)

• Firearms and shotgun certificates (required)

• ATV certification (preferred)

• Physically fit and capable of working outdoors in challenging environments

• Own trained working dogs (required)

• Boat handling experience advantageous but not essential

• Must be fluent in English
