GEOFF NORMAN JOINS PERAZZI UK UNDER SGC GROUP
The SGC Group has announced the appointment of Geoff Norman to Perazzi UK, bringing his 45 years of experience in the shooting industry to what is widely regarded as the Ferrari of the gun world.
Norman, a well-known figure across the UK gun trade, has built a reputation for hard work, integrity, and a straight-talking approach. Having spent nearly two decades representing Browning, Winchester, and Miroku, his extensive knowledge and passion for shooting sports make him an ideal fit for Perazzi’s UK operations.
A Gloucestershire farmer’s son, Norman was immersed in the shooting world from an early age. By 14, he was guiding pigeon shooting days and had already been featured in Shooting Gazette as a promising young shot. After training in Game and Fishery Management at Hartpury, he was invited back as an instructor before going on to become one of the youngest head keepers in the UK in 1999, earning a mention in the Good Shoot Guide.
Norman later moved to Bredon Hill Shooting, where he gained experience across different areas of the trade before embarking on his long tenure with FN Browning. His influence on the gun trade is evident – his work has shaped product offerings in gun shops across the world, and he has engaged with every level of the shooting community, from newcomers to industry leaders.
Now, as he takes on this new role with Perazzi UK, Norman sees it as the culmination of a lifelong ambition.
“My childhood dream is being realised, but I remain forever grounded and humble,” he said. “We are all a sum of our past, and I thank my family, friends, old colleagues, and of course the British gun trade for their support, guidance, and education.”
He added: “Moving forward, it will be an absolute honour to represent the Perazzi family, its products, and the SGC Group, both in the UK market and on the world stage. I look forward to sharing this next chapter and welcoming you to the world of Perazzi – where building dreams really is possible.”
