WHERE DO GUN SAFES FIT WITHIN YOUR OVERALL OFFERING?

Safes are a core product line for us, and we stock cabinets in both shops. Over the years, we’ve worked with most of the well-known brands in the market, including Lokaway and Buffalo River. Spika stood out immediately – particularly the S3A ammo safe. The branding, the orange detailing and the overall look really catch customers’ attention. There are cheaper safes available, but Spika offers a strong balance of build quality, design and value, which makes them surprisingly easy to sell.

WHAT INITIALLY ATTRACTED YOU TO THE SPIKA BRAND?

The visual impact is the first thing customers notice. The cabinets look smart on display, and once people start looking more closely, the build quality sells itself. They feel solid, well finished and thoughtfully designed.

HOW HAVE SPIKA SAFES PERFORMED SINCE ADDING THEM TO YOUR RANGE?

Sales have been very strong. The S3 in particular flew out, which surprised us – we expected the smaller models like the S1 and S2 to move quicker. The S3 has really proven to be the sweet spot in the range. I actually kept an S3A for myself.

WHAT FEEDBACK HAVE CUSTOMERS GIVEN?

All positive so far. Customers like how easy they are to install, the quality of the fixings and practical touches like the internal lamp. Customers don’t come back with issues – which is exactly what you want.

HOW HAS YOUR EXPERIENCE BEEN WORKING WITH THE SPIKA TEAM?

Stock availability has been reliable, communication has been easy and responsive, and we’ve had no warranty issues at all. The POS materials have also been really useful, especially the magnetic range visuals, which help us show the full offering even with limited display space.

DO YOU SEE SPIKA GROWING FURTHER IN YOUR BUSINESS?

Yes, absolutely. We’ll continue to expand the range sensibly, particularly within key price points. Spika works well for shops like ours because it offers something that looks premium, performs well, and delivers real value for both retailers and customers.
