DAYSTATE AND BRK EXPERIENCE ATTRACTS OVER 150 AIRGUN ENTHUSIASTS TO STAFFORDSHIRE
More than 150 airgunners gathered at Oakedge Shooting Ground in Staffordshire for the successful two-day Daystate and BRK Experience. Following the event’s popularity, the organisers have confirmed its return in 2025 at a new, larger venue.
The event featured a full array of Daystate and BRK rifles, with participants firing over 7,000 pellets at targets up to 100 meters away. Expert guidance was provided by Chris Jensen, an extreme benchrest expert from Airguns of Arizona, alongside the Daystate and BRK Airgunners’ Support Pack (ASP) team.
Workshops and presentations were a key part of the experience, with notable contributions from Mat Manning and Rich Saunders of Airgun World and The Airgun Show. They offered insights into decoying pigeons and corvids, and shared advice on securing shooting permissions.
For those with a technical interest in airguns, the Sub 12 Airgunners Team was available to discuss tuning techniques, while the Red Squirrel Conservation Team raised awareness about the ecological impact of grey squirrels and effective control methods.
Participants also received goodie bags and discount codes for purchases at the Daystate and BRK store.
Tony Belas, a spokesperson for the event, remarked on the enthusiasm and engagement of attendees: “Everyone had a great time. There were plenty of guns to shoot and lots of opportunities to chat with experts and fellow airgun enthusiasts.”
With plans already underway for the next event, Belas promises that the 2025 Daystate and BRK Experience will be “even bigger and better,” aiming to accommodate more participants and enhance the overall experience.
