The latest arrivals include a compact Night Stalker 4K 2.0 50mm LRF scope, the Osprey 4K multispectral binoculars and two new Leopard 640 eX LRF thermal monoculars. For managing director Mark Swift, the launches represent an important opportunity to put high-performing, well-priced products in front of dealers as the market moves into its key autumn selling period.
“The products are now giving us a really strong story to tell,” says Mark. “We have some fantastic new releases and it is important that dealers understand what is coming, what each product does and where the opportunity lies for them.”
The new Night Stalker 4K 2.0 50mm LRF is the latest addition to a range that has been available in the UK since February in a 70mm configuration. The newly arrived 50mm version offers a more compact alternative, with a 5x starting magnification, a wide field of view and a lightweight 905g build.
Its laser rangefinder is integrated into the lens, helping to keep the unit streamlined while delivering the functionality users expect from a modern digital night-vision scope. Available to the trade at £430, with an MSRP of £699, Mark believes the 50mm model will be especially relevant to UK fox shooters.
“The 70mm Night Stalker 2.0 has been well received, but the 50mm makes real sense for the UK market,” he says. “It is better suited to closer-range foxing, gives users a great field of view and offers a very usable balance of magnification, weight and performance.”
Also new is the Osprey 4K, PARD’s multispectral binocular. With a trade price of £599 and an MSRP of £949, the Osprey combines night vision and thermal capability in a lightweight, ergonomic format intended to be simple to operate in the field.
Mark says early demand has underlined the appeal of the product. “We received a small delivery just before the Game Fair and it had all gone almost immediately,” he says. “The feedback has been extremely positive. The Osprey 4K delivers excellent image quality for the price, it feels right in the hand and it is very easy to use. There is a lot of value in that package.”
Completing the trio is the new Leopard 640 eX LRF thermal handheld monocular, offered in 35mm and 50mm lens options.
Both models use a 640x512px sensor and high-sensitivity uncooled VOx technology, with NETD of ≤14mK. The laser rangefinder is built into the lens, while a new 5,000mAh battery package and revised ergonomic design aim to improve the user experience during extended sessions.
The 35mm Leopard 640 eX LRF is available at a trade price of £1,120, with an MSRP of £1,699. The 50mm version is priced at £1,250 trade and £1,899 MSRP.
“I tested the new thermal monoculars in the field and the image quality was exceptional,” says Mark. “I had a fox at 38 yards and, in very dark conditions, the clarity was unbelievable. If the incoming upgraded production models improve on the samples we have seen, they will be very impressive indeed.”
With the shooting season approaching and customers beginning to consider upgrades or replacements, Mark believes this is the right moment for dealers to engage with the latest PARD releases.
“Now is the time to get the message out,” he says. “These are strong products at competitive price points, and we want to make sure dealers have the information and support they need to present them confidently to their customers.”
