DAYSTATE PERFORMANCE CENTER AND BRK PATHFINDER: EXPANDED OFFERINGS FOR AIRGUN RETAILERS AND ENTHUSIASTS

Staffordshire -based airgun manufacturers Daystate and BRK have introduced updates to their product lines to enhance the customer experience. Recent expansions to the Daystate Performance Center catalogue and the launch of the BRK Pathfinder O.D. Green underscore the brands’ commitment to catering to the needs of airgun users.

Introduced in February, Daystate’s Performance Center catalogue has been expanded to include a broader range of accessories and upgrades. The latest update, released six months after the initial launch, includes over 600 items designed for Daystate, BRK (formerly Brocock), MTC Optics and other airguns and firearms. This offering supports online and in-store purchases, with an in-shop display unit available to help retailers show the range.

The expanded catalogue is available as an editable PDF, allowing retailers and distributors to customise links that direct customers to their own online stores. Additionally, printed versions are available for in-store browsing, providing a versatile option for all customers. Retailers interested in acquiring display units or printed copies can contact Daystate’s sales manager, Ian Jones, for details. The full Performance Center catalogue is also accessible online.

BRK PATHFINDER O.D. GREEN

BRK has introduced the Pathfinder O.D. Green, a new version of the compact carbine launched last year. Known for its lightweight design and versatility, the Pathfinder has been a strong seller for BRK. The O.D. Green variant features a distinctive olive drab finish on the shroud, body and buttstock, and is packaged with the BRK MF-121 silencer and a matching backpack case.

The Pathfinder O.D. Green model builds on the success of the original with several key enhancements. It includes a lightweight 300cc carbon bottle that increases the shot count, allowing more shooting time between refills. This model is available in both export and FAC versions, offering higher power outputs than standard models, reaching up to 30ft/lb in the .25 calibre variant.

Measuring 616mm with the stock deployed and 416mm when retracted, the Pathfinder O.D. Green is designed for portability and ease of use in confined spaces. Weighing just 2.9kg, the rifle provides up to 200 shots in the 12ft/lb model. Its performance is further supported by a Huma-Air regulator and a redesigned hammer system, offering consistent accuracy and rapid reloading via its sidelever action.

The expansion of the Daystate Performance Center and the introduction of the BRK Pathfinder O.D. Green provide dealers and customers with tangible benefits. The updated Performance Center catalogue, with its extensive range of accessories and customisation options, gives retailers flexibility in tailoring their offerings. Meanwhile, the Pathfinder O.D. Green offers a compact, high-performance option for airgun users seeking reliability and ease of use in the field.

These updates reflect Daystate and BRK’s ongoing commitment to innovation and quality, offering valuable tools to dealers and new products designed to meet the needs of airgun enthusiasts.

MUZZLE DEVICES – EFFECT ON ACCURACY, PRECISION AND VELOCITY
I spent a decade designing and testing small-arms ammunition in the defence sector, writes Hexagon Ammunition’s Paul Bradley. During that time we faced many confounding variables. With no apparent change to build standard or materials we would find performance parameters shifting. We discovered many variables after hours of head scratching that we had not previously accounted for. One of those was the humble muzzle device – and surprisingly it had little to do with barrel harmonics.
