DESCRIPTION OF ROLE

Responsible for delivering professional shooting instruction to individuals and small groups, you will be an experienced Shooting Instructor, comfortable teaching across both clay and game disciplines to all ages (10+) and levels of experience. An enthusiastic attitude, good communication and organisational skills to deliver exceptional customer service. You will be required to assist with corporate days, competitions and occasionally outside events such as simulated days, as well as working on the shooting ground during quiet periods, some experience of operating and maintaining traps and general groundskeeping experience would be beneficial.

DESCRIPTION OF ROLE

William Evans Ltd is seeking a full-time Gunroom & Retail Sales Assistant for its London Gunroom, located at SW1A 1PH. The ideal candidate will have experience working in the gun trade, although training can be provided to a suitable candidate.

A strong knowledge of firearms, firearms law and shooting sports is essential, particularly for those without direct industry experience. Holding a current shotgun/firearm certificate would be advantageous. Key duties include booking in and out firearms, maintaining accurate records on computer systems, labelling and displaying merchandise, and greeting and assisting clients with their needs.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience in the gun trade (preferred). Strong knowledge of firearms, firearms law and shooting sports. Current shotgun/firearm certificate (advantageous).

Responsible for growing corporate business, you will have excellent communication and sales skills, and an entrepreneurial attitude. You will be required to manage the event process from the planning stage through to closing the sale and running the event itself; co-ordinating in-house staff and external suppliers, handling client queries and troubleshooting to ensure that events run smoothly. You will need great organisational skills and strong attention to detail to deliver an outstanding customer experience.

The role is a practical one, and you will be required to set up and pack-down events, with some lifting required.
