3 LEGGED THING APPOINTS RANGE RIGHT AS UK DISTRIBUTOR

British engineering brand 3 Legged Thing has appointed Range Right Ltd as its exclusive UK distributor for shooting and field sports products.

The agreement marks a further step into the shooting sector for 3 Legged Thing following the introduction of its range of gun saddles, shooting tripods, bipods, scope rings and air rifle moderators at the British Shooting Show earlier this year.

Under the new partnership, Range Right Ltd, based in North Yorkshire, will oversee national distribution, dealer support and retail development across the UK. The company brings established relationships within the trade and experience in the shooting market.

Danny Lenihan, founder of 3 Legged Thing, said: “We’ve spent years building a reputation for precision engineering, innovation and reliability. As we expand further into the shooting industry, it was vital we partnered with a distributor who shares those values. From the moment we met Gill and Jake, it was clear this wasn’t going to be a typical distributor relationship. There was an immediate sense of mutual respect and shared ambition – a proper alignment in how we see the industry and the standards we expect. That made the decision an easy one, and we’re thrilled to be working together.”

Gill Peters, managing director of Range Right Ltd, added: “We first came across 3 Legged Thing at The British Shooting Show, and to be honest, they were so busy we didn’t get a proper chance to speak at the time. But that in itself said a lot. We followed up straight after the event, and it very quickly became clear that this was a brand doing something different. There was an immediate alignment in how we see the market and the standards we expect, and it just felt like the right fit. We’re really pleased to be working with Danny and the team and look forward to growing the brand across the UK.”

The partnership is expected to improve product availability and streamline distribution for UK dealers, while supporting the continued expansion of 3 Legged Thing’s shooting accessories offering.

SELECTING A RIFLE SCOPE
Rifle scopes tend to be a polarizing subject. Why? Because of the vast price differences, you could spend anything from 100GBP to 5000GBP. On first inspection the cheaper options seem to do everything the expensive ones can so why not save yourself some money? Well maybe you can and you will be happy with the result, it really depends on context, explains Paul Bradley.
