As the trade fair calendar approaches its busiest stretch, Italian shotgun specialist F.A.I.R. is preparing to exhibit its 2026 product portfolio across four major international events. The company will be present at Shot Show in Las Vegas from 20 to 23 January, followed by IWA OutdoorClassics in Nuremberg from 26 February to 1 March, the EOS European Outdoor Show in Parma from 28 to 30 March and the Game Fair in Lamotte-Beuvron in June.
The season offers an opportunity for retailers and distributors to handle the brand’s full range of shotguns and rifles, from entry-level hunting and clay models to high-grade pieces with traditional engraving and bespoke finishes. According to Rebecca Rizzini, marketing manager at F.A.I.R., physical interaction with the product remains crucial. “Handling a gun in person still makes all the difference, and it’s something that cannot be replicated online,” she said.
Each exhibition will feature a broad selection of guns, with EOS offering a tailored showcase for Italian shooters and domestic hunting requirements. Visitors will also be able to discuss market-specific needs with the F.A.I.R. team, who remain open to developing dedicated models in partnership with customers.
Product development continues to be a major priority for F.A.I.R., which is currently advancing several new projects. “The market is evolving fast – especially aesthetically – and we are committed to meeting the expectations of both new and traditional shooters,” said Rizzini. Alongside visual trends, the company is also working on further engineering and manufacturing enhancements. Its approach combines modern CNC machining and component standardisation with traditional craftsmanship, relying on skilled artisans trained in Gardone Val Trompia’s historic gunmaking schools. “Our identity as an industrial manufacturer is always combined with the spirit of craftsmanship,” she added.
The company expects discussions during the fair season to focus heavily on steel shot and the regulatory changes affecting ammunition use worldwide. “Cartridge cost and performance remain major concerns for customers. We are working with partners to find a balance between compliance with steel shot regulations and the expectations of shooters who value heritage and performance,” Rizzini said. The issue is complex, she noted, as legislative requirements vary between countries.
With exhibitors and visitors attending from across the world, trade fairs continue to play a vital role in F.A.I.R.’s distribution strategy. They provide a platform not only to meet prospective retailers but also to strengthen ties with existing partners who may not be able to visit the factory during the year. Face-to-face engagement, which the company views as essential to its customer relationships, allows for detailed conversation about product plans, market conditions and long-term strategy.
“Our presence at international trade fairs reflects values that are still at the core of our business,” Rizzini said. “We believe that direct dialogue helps us respond to the needs of our customers quickly and build enduring partnerships.”
