CHRISTIAN WESTCOUGH JOINS VIKING FIELD TEAM AND BECOMES LEUPOLD UK AMBASSADOR

Christian Westcough has joined the Viking Field Team, representing Viking Arms and Leupold in the UK shooting and hunting communities. With a strong background in precision rifle competition and hunting, Westcough brings extensive experience and passion to his new role as a Leupold UK ambassador.

Leupold is known worldwide for its high-quality optics, setting the standard for hunting and competition shooting scopes. Westcough’s expertise in both fields makes him an ideal fit to represent the brand. His experience with rifles and optics, both in competition and in the field, will allow him to provide insightful reviews and demonstrations to the UK’s target shooting and hunting community.

Since 2021, Westcough has been a professional target shooter and an active hunter. He also collaborates with brands including Bergara International, Jackal Firearms, Nieload, Kydex Customs, and York Knife. Through social media engagement on Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube, he has built a dedicated following, with his videos consistently surpassing 10,000 views.

As part of the Viking Field Team, Westcough will showcase Leupold optics and Viking Arms products across his social media platforms, reaching an engaged audience of shooting and hunting enthusiasts.

Westcough has represented the United Kingdom on the international stage, competing at the 2024 IPRF World Championships in Colorado. As a founding executive member of the Great Britain Precision Rifle Association and the International Precision Rifle Federation, he played a key role in establishing and promoting precision rifle shooting in the UK. He also organised qualification matches for international competitions and served as Media Officer to expand the sport’s reach. Although he recently stepped down from these roles, Westcough continues to support the next generation of shooters by working to establish a Home Office Approved Club and by introducing NRL Hunter to the UK, a competitive format blending hunting and precision shooting.

He plans to highlight key Leupold products, including the Mark 5HD scope range and the Mark 4 12-40x60mm TMR spotting scope, sharing his insights to help shooters and hunters make informed decisions.
