The Gun Trade Association (GTA) is urging more businesses to take part in its nationwide survey on the state of the UK gun trade.
Launched last month, the survey is being carried out by independent firm TDC Research to gather essential data on the trade’s size, skills base, regional distribution and economic impact. The results will help the GTA represent the industry more effectively as the Home Office considers major changes to firearms legislation, including the potential convergence of Sections 1 and 2 licensing.
GTA chief executive Stephen Jolly said that wider participation is crucial to ensure the findings reflect the full breadth of the sector. The Association is calling on all retailers, distributors, manufacturers and service providers to complete the short, confidential survey and help strengthen the industry’s collective voice.
