Time Well Spent Group has announced the appointment of Ed Jackson to the newly created role of group reviews editor.
Ed, who has served as editor of Gun Mart, will now oversee all product reviews across TWS Group’s portfolio of consumer magazines, including Shooting Times, Sporting Gun, Rifle Shooter, Airgun World, and Gun Mart. The strategic appointment creates a single point of contact for manufacturers and distributors seeking coverage across the group’s extensive readership.
In his new role, Ed will implement a standardised review format across all titles, ensuring consistent data points and evaluation criteria that enable readers to make well-informed purchasing decisions. As an active shooter with experience across multiple disciplines, he brings both editorial expertise and practical shooting knowledge to the position.
TWS Group recognises that speed is critical in today’s market, with readers seeking timely information before making purchasing decisions. Another change will see reviews published online as soon as they are complete, providing manufacturers and distributors with rapid turnaround times. Reviews will subsequently appear in print editions, ensuring the group’s content reaches audiences across both digital and traditional platforms.
